Infineon has joined Microsoft, NVIDIA and UnternehmerTUM Accelerator in launching the Physical AIartificial intelligence Growth Lab, a new equity-free accelerator for startups working on physical AIartificial intelligence, robotics and industrial AIartificial intelligence. The program is set to run from January to April 2027 and is designed to support teams that are already beyond the idea stage but still early enough to shape their technical stack and market entry.
The accelerator targets startups based in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, or building for those markets, with a working prototype or MVP, at least one technical co-founder, teams of up to 20 people and a founding date within the past three years. It will run in a hybrid format, including in-person sessions in Munich.
Between 10 and 15 startups are expected to be selected. They will receive Microsoft for Startups benefits, including USD 350,000 in Azure credits, access to NVIDIA SDKSoftware Development KitThese are tools and libraries used to build applications on a platform.s and open models, benefits from the NVIDIA Inception program, and access to Infineon’s hardware foundation for physical AIartificial intelligence.
Infineon’s contribution is centered on its semiconductor stack, including power semiconductors, microcontrollers, sensors and connectivity solutions intended to make physical AIartificial intelligence systems actionable in the real world. NVIDIA brings its physical AIartificial intelligence stack from training and simulation to edge deployment, while Microsoft provides Azure AIartificial intelligence and cloud infrastructure as well as enterprise connections. UnternehmerTUM Accelerator leads the program and supplies mentoring, customer introductions and investor access.
The partners frame physical AIartificial intelligence as the convergence of foundation models, simulation and robotics, with applications extending into machines, factories and logistics networks. The launch also points to a substantial market opportunity in Europe, where physical AIartificial intelligence is estimated at roughly 22.5% of the global market in 2026.
Applications are open now, with a deadline of 13 November 2026. The selected startups will begin the program in January 2027 and complete it in April 2027.
